A Nigerian soldier, Muazu Alhaji Misiya, who is stationed in Bama, Borno
state, shared these photos on his Facebook wall. According to him, the
woman who is believed to be mentally unstable, was found inside a bush in
Bama yesterday June 27th. Efforts to get her name or address failed as she
refused to talk. He said anyone who knows her should please contact him on
Facebook.
21-year-old student sentenced to life in prison for killing her newborn baby by throwing her in the trash
Former college student who gave birth in her sorority house last year was
on Monday, June 27, sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing
the newborn by throwing her in the trash.
Emile Weaver, 21, of Clarington was found guilty by a jury last month of
aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
Prosecutors said Weaver gave birth in a bathroom at the Delta Gamma Theta
sorority at Muskingum University on April 22, 2015, then purposefully
caused the death of her baby.

Kuje prison break: Minister of Interior Lt.Gen. Dambazau orders immediate security beef up
Following the escape of two inmates from Kuje prison last week, the
Minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdurahaman Dambazau (rtd) on Monday, June
27, ordered immediate security beef up at the Kuje Medium prisons and all
other prisons across the country. Dambazau gave the order in Abuja shortly
after an on-the-spot assessment of the Kuje prisons in Abuja. The two
inmates standing trial for murder were said to have escaped from the prison on
Friday and are still at large.

A Texas Woman, 42-year-old Christy Sheats, gunned down her two daughters
Taylor Sheats, 23, and her 17-year-old sister Madison on Friday evening
over a family dispute and it's now been revealed that Taylor was supposed
to wed three days after her killing.
A police officer fatally shot the mother around 5 p.m. on Friday after
arriving to the family’s subdivision to find Sheats shooting at one of her
daughters in the street.
Taylor and her longtime boyfriend had set their wedding date for Monday,
according to a Facebook post from his relative cited by KTRK-TV.

Woman who cut off her stepson's genitals has been remanded in Prison
LIB reported about this gruesome incident that happened some days ago in
Minna, Niger State. A woman named Bara'atu (pictured) who is the step
mother of the baby boy, allegedly cut off his penis. She was arrested and
placed in custody pending her arraignment in court. The boy survived the
incident and was rushed to a hospital in Minna where doctors urgently
operated on him in order to provide a way for him to urinate.
